My Bin app has been developed to provide :
* Easy access to your bin calendar
* Alerts which can be set to remind you of each bin collection service
* Easy links to information relating to the waste service delivered by your local authority
* Search list to allow you to search for common waste types and receive guidance to for which bin waste should be placed
* Links to external websites providing information on recycling and waste minimisation

The system works by linking your postcode to the relevant collection schedule – no personal information is saved within the system.

Your local authority will have access to aggregated data to show which areas are using the app well.

Logging the registered households/postcodes allows your local authority to target communications at specific postcode areas – for example if a vehicle is broken down and a collection is delayed this can be communicated to users.

No additional personal individual information on users is collected.
Your local authority and MyBins are not responsible for content on external sites linked from the app. The inclusion of any such links does not necessarily imply a recommendation or endorse the views expressed within them.

MyBins make every effort to ensure the app is running. However, should the service not be available, we accept no liability due to circumstances and issues beyond our control.
